Kids enjoy learning when it is fun
And that’s exactly what we’re focused on in the City of God children’s group. We create an environment for children to learn God’s Word in a fun, exciting, and age-appropriate way. Our desire is for kids to learn they have a heavenly Father who loves them and has great plans for their lives.
Each weekend, we incorporate dynamic teaching, worship, video elements, puppets, skits, songs, and more. These elements are all used to reinforce the core truths about God in a fun and familiar way.
It’s our prayer that City of God Kids will leave with a happy memory of coming to God’s house, His Word hidden in their hearts, and having encountered the God who loves them.
Children are never too young to have the Word of God spoken over them. At City of God Children’s Ministry, we’re not just babysitting. Parents can feel confident, knowing that their children will be ministered to through praise and worship, age-appropriate lessons, and prayer in our classrooms. God’s Word accomplishes all it is sent to do and will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
Why not bring your child to our next children’s service at the Church Community Hall from 11am? (Sunday school starts at 10:40am.)
Rising Stars Baby & Toddler Group
We meet every Friday morning during term time only, from 10:30am – 12 noon, for a fun-packed session with toys, craft, songs, games and snacks. For preschoolers (0–4yrs). Everyone welcome – meet other parents or carers, have a chat and a brew. Free entry (donations welcome).
